Three
Nigerian soldiers were found guilty of murder on Friday 7th
February. They were however sentenced to 10 years behind the bars by the
general court-martial that deliberated over the case at the army headquarters
in Abuja.

years. Major Ogbemudia, Major Akeem Oseni and Second lieutenant Nuhu Dogary
were found guilty of torturing their colleague, Collins Benjamin, a Lance
Corporal to death. This crime is punishable under section 105 of the Armed
Forces Act 2004 by life imprisonment.
