Nigerian Man Arrested In Cambodia For Illegal Stay And Public Disturbance

The Department of Investigation and Procedure of Phnom Penh Immigration Department received a Nigerian on Thursday 23rd, 2020. The man is identified as Lucius Okafor from Khan Meanchey’s police post.

So, Okafor, 21, was arrested by the police for disturbing people and upon questioning, it was noticed that he had no Visa or Passport.

However, it was discovered that he had no clothes on when he was arrested, so, the public disturbance charge.

Besides, Okafor has been living in Cambodia for about 10-months on arriving from Ban Laem border into Battambang from Thailand. He has no current Visa extension.

So, the Nigerian man is been sent to the General Department of Immigration for deportation
