A Nigerian girl identified as Amarachi Osuji has narrated her story on Twitter of how she dumped medicine to study engineering. It took her about three years to summon the courage of changing her initial desired course (medicine) to engineering.

Amarachi Orji said that the desire to swap course started right from her first semester in Hungary, though she pushed through for five semesters.

She later summoned the courage to disclose her intention to change her course to engineering after she was convinced that medicine was not right for her.

Her family members never took it lightly with her and tried to dissuade her from her decision. All these efforts never changed the decision she already made. She eventually graduated as the top in her class.
