Busola Dakolo Vs Fatoyinbo: CAN, PFN To Meet Over Alleged Rape Case

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) have decided to meet over the accusations of rape by Busola Dakolo leveled against the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo.

This was revealed in a report on Saturday by the Special Assistant, Media, and Communications to the CAN President, Pastor Adebayo Oladeji.

Meanwhile, Busola Dakolo, wife of singer, Timi Dakolo, had accused pastor Fatoyinbo of forcefully raping her.

More so, other victims have shown up to also accuse the COZA Senior Pastor of rape, which he has bluntly denied.

CAN in their statement noted: “The Christian Association of Nigeria as a body, condemns any case of rape in strong terms, it doesn’t matter who is involved.

“It is ungodly, wicked, and reprehensible. However, on the allegations against Pastor Abiodun Fatoyinbo, we have no details about the matter other than what we are reading on the social media, this is, however, not reliable and credible evidence enough to jump into a conclusion.

“The CAN Leadership, thus, has reached out to the leadership of the block which the Pastor in question is part of, with a view to getting to the root of the matter. This will help us to make the right decision on the issue.” The statement read
