BET Awards: Burna Boy’s Mum Delivers ‘Powerful Speech’ (Video)
Mother of Popular Nigerian Afrofusion singer and songwriter, Damini Ogulu, better known by his stage name as Burna Boy, gave what could be tagged a “powerful speech” at the recent BET Awards.
The 2019 BET Awards, took place at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, June 23 which saw the singer, Burna Boy, emerging as the “Best International Act”.
Mama Burna, who received the awards on behalf of her son, reminded the audience of their historical background
Meanwhile, Bose Ogulu, better known as mama Burna, did stressed in her speech that every black person must clearly remember that they were Africans before anything else.
She stated “Every black person must remember that you were Africans before anything else”
