US Embassy Denies Bishop Oyedepo Visa
Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church Worldwide also known as Winners Chapel has been denied visa by the Lagos office of the United States of America. This happened on Thursday 30th January
The reason Bishop Oyedepo was not given the US visa was not clear but he was told he was not qualified for visa renewal and was advised to try again.
Recall that comedian Bovi was also denied the US visa a few weeks ago but was fortunate when he tried again, as he was issued the visa. On the other hand, his wife, Kris Asimonye was not lucky as she was denied.
Reports said the clergy created a scene at the office as he insisted that he has never violated any rules or done anything wrong to have warranted this denial. He requested for his phone so he can make calls, he was denied making the calls within the precincts of the visa office.
However, Bishop Oyedepo has not made any comment on the incident. ThisDay disclosed that the bishop told the embassy authorities that he has been traveling to the US since the 1980s
Also, recall that President Donald Trump confirmed his intention to impose a travel ban on some countries which Nigeria is part of.
