Trump Reacts On Twitter To His Impeachment By The House Of Representatives

Trump has taken to his Twitter account to react to the news of his impeachment by the House of Representatives.

The US House of Representatives, on Wednesday, had voted largely to impeach President Trump’s abuse of power and obstruction of Congress in relating to dealings with Ukraine.

Two articles of impeachment were passed over his attitude in the Ukraine scandal.

The issue will now be transferred to the Senate, where it will be determined whether to convict and remove the president from office come January 2020.

Donald Trump reacted via his Twitter account with the inscription “IN REALITY, THEY’RE NOT AFTER ME THEY’RE AFTER YOU, I’M JUST IN THE WAY’

However, the president has denied any wrongdoings; he was present at a Michigan rally earlier as the Representatives voted on his impeachment. Trump said, “They’ve been trying to impeach me from day one”

“After three
years of sinister witch hunts, scams, hoaxes, tonight, House Democrats are
trying to nullify the ballots of tens of millions of patriotic Americans”

Trump will now be the third sitting US president to be impeached after Bill Clinton and Andrew Johnson.
