The Muslim Right Concern, MURIC has come out to say that arresting the suspected bomber, Nathaniel Samuel, at the Winners Chapel Church in Kaduna on Sunday 2nd February is an indication that there is a Christian version of Boko Haram.

In a press release by MURIC president, Professor Ishaq Akintola said that the arrest of Nathaniel Samuel after trying to bomb the Winners Chapel Church made a mockery of the rally held by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, on Sunday.

Akintola said that the rally was organized to protest against insecurity in Nigeria but God works in mysterious ways as he exposed another plan by a fellow Christian to bomb a church on the same day that the CAN organized the rally.

Parts of his statement reads;

“This arrest is the outcome of our prayers for Allah to expose all those who are behind the bombing of churches. We are not surprised that the suspect happens to be a Christian. We have said it on several occasions that there is a Christian version of Boko Haram. Christians bomb churches and the whole world blame Nigerian Muslims for the atrocity.
