Six Catholic Faithful Lost Their Lives While Returning From Pilgrimage In Osun

Six Catholic Faithuls lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident happened on Sunday 9^th February at a sharp bend in Eripa, along Iree-Otan Ayegbaju-Ila Road in Osun State. This accident has claimed the lives of six Catholic faithful

The deceased who were reportedly coming back from the annual Oke Maria Pilgrimage in Otan Ayegbaju were in an 18-seater liteace bus that belongs to SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Lagere. 9 other passengers were lucky as they only sustained varying degrees of injuries.

Folasade Odoro, Police spokesperson in Osun State confirmed the accident and also said that the driver lost control of the bus which ran into a ditch. He, however, advised motorists to desist from over speeding and dangerous driving.
