Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, General Manager, Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), in a statement released on Saturday 28th December said the club owned by the member of the Federal House of Representative was reopened after the club’s management got committed to carrying out its activities without obstructing free flow of traffic on Ozumba Mbadiwe and its environs.
Fasawe however disclosed that the club’s management who promised to ensure its clients’ vehicles were parked properly in allotted areas, has shown a commitment to ensure that sound emanating from musical events within the facility stays within the recommended limits set by the state.
In her
statement;
”We are
reopening the club for operation as it has fulfilled all conditions and
complied with the extant law guiding its operations.
”The club was
sanctioned and fined for environmental nuisances and we ensure total compliance
before this reopening."
