Several Alleged Homosexuals Arrested In Kano During An Alleged Orgy

Over fifty (50) alleged homosexuals have been reportedly arrested by the Sharia Police, popularly called Hisbah during a party organized at Sabuwar-Gandu Quarters in the Kano metropolis.

The men were accused of coming together as homosexuals to celebrate their togetherness before the commencement of the party. On the contrary, the new graduates insisted on coming together to celebrate their graduation from the tertiary institution.

A senior Hisbah commander, Mallam Tasiu, confirmed arresting the homosexuals and also alleged that they invited their same-sex partners to the party. The senior Hisbah commander said that the men were arrested after intelligence gathering. Also, he confirmed that men are undergoing reorientation programmes.

However, Mallam Tasiu disclosed that the reorientation programmes will hold before their prosecution.
