A past
Governor of Abia State, Uzor Kalu has spoken from the prison about his
condition.
Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos had sentenced the former Governor, Uzor Kalu to 12-years imprisonment over the fraud of N7.65 billion.
Kalu
reportedly narrated his ordeal to his visitors.
The Nation
newspaper shared a report about how Kanu had revealed how he was being fed in
prison.
Postnaija had earlier shared a report in the week about how the former Governor of Abia State was sent to 12-years imprisonment by a Lagos Federal High Court over a fraud of N7.65 billion carried out while he was the Governor of Abia State.
Kalu was at
the helms of affair of Abia Government House between 1999 and 2007 and ruled
for 8-years when he was not yet 40.
Reports
gathered revealed that a few days after he began his sentence, one of his
associates paid him a sympathy visit but was shocked at his condition; he was
seen putting on a pair of bathroom slippers.
“See me now eating in the prison” Kalu reported told his visitor who could not find words to console him.
