The former
National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has finally reunited with his family
after spending 4-years in the custody of the DSS.
The DSS had
on the 1 December 2015 arrested Sambo Dasuki and arraigned him in court by the
Economic And Financial Crimes Commission on his involvement in s $2.1bn arms
procurement fraud under the ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan.
However, Dasuki was granted bail by the court upon meeting his bail conditions on 29 December 2015, but was rearrested by the DSS operatives.
So, he had been with the DSS until Tuesday night, 24 December 2019 when he was released on the orders of the Attorney General Of the Federation. He was therefore, received by well-wishers and the members of his family at his Asokoro, Abuja, Tuesday night.
