Research Say That The Coronavirus May Have Been Transmitted From Snakes

Research has revealed that the deadly Coronavirus spreading around the world from China may have been transmitted from snakes. This is sold at an open-air-market in Wuhan to humans.

The Coronavirus which is SARS-like first appeared in Wuhan, China in December and has made its way to Washington in the US.

Also, early report shows that several Coronavirus patients were customers and workers at a seafood market selling processed meat with a live consumable animals like reptiles, camels.

However,the strains of the new Coronavirus were analyzed and compared to those in different animals like bats, snakes, and humans.

Besides, they discovered that snakes were susceptible to the most related versions of the virus. It was discovered that the snakes are likely to provided a reservoir for the strains to replicate and grow stronger.

Therefore, researchers also added that tests are needed to ascertain the origin of the latest epidermic.
