Miriam
Onuoha, candidate of the All Progressive Congress has been declared the winner by
INEC, for the House of Reps election conducted in Imo State yesterday 25th,
January 2020.
Her victory
was confirmed by Frank Collins, representative of INEC. This qualifies her to
represent Okigwe North at the green chamber.
Onuoha
emerged with a total of 23,690 votes while her counterpart Onwubualiri had
10,010.
Frank Collins, the INEC official explained that the total number of registered voters was 200,684, accredited voters was 38, 244, the total number of rejected votes was 815, while the total number of votes cast was 35, 198. The percentage turnout was 19.06 %.
