Nigerians React As Angelique Kidjo Dedicates Her Grammy Award To Burna Boy

On Sunday night, Angelique Kidjo again won the Best World Music Album at the 2020 Grammy awards. she won ahead of Nigerian nominee, Burna Boy.

So, the songwriter, actress, from the Benin Republic, was voted for her creative music videos, and diverse musical influences. Upon receiving the award, she dedicated it to Burna Boy.

She disclosed that the Nigerian artiste is among African artistes helping to change the way African music is viewed.
