Nigerian Man Arrested Alongside His Malagasy Lover For Illicit Drug In The Philippines

A Nigerian man has been arrested alongside his Malagasy lover. They were arrested in Quezon City of the Philippines with illicit drugs worth about N489m

The Nigerian man, Ikegwuruka Obinna, 27, and Michaella Augustine, 23, Madagascar both reside Cavite from where they were arrested after placed on three months surveillance.

They were nabbed on Tuesday 11th February by the Philippine National Police officials and the Joint Philippines Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA). So, a total of 10kg of methamphetamine worth PHP68 million (N489m) was realized from them

However, their arrest was confirmed by the Chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas.

Besides, the duo will also face non-bailable charges for dealing in dangerous drugs
