My Government Is Not Controlled By Cabals – President Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari had denied the claim made that cabals were influencing the decisions made in his government.

The First lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari had claimed overtime that some cabals are responsible for the decisions made by her husband.

Contrary to this claim, President Buhari stated in an interview held with The Interview Newspaper that the oath of office of the President was taken by him alone and so he only has the legal right to exercise the power embedded in it.

In the words of President Buhari,

"I was the one who went around the country on
campaigns, and I was the one voted into office as President, twice. No one else
did, and no one else took the oath of office, and can exercise the powers of a
President."
