Governor Dapo Abiodun Finally Nominates 18 Commissioners Seven Months After Inauguration

The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has forwarded 18 commissioner-nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly.

Abiodun forwarded the list today 12 December 2019, exactly seven months after he was inaugurated as the Governor of Ogun State.

The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly read the letter from the Governor at the floor of the assembly today.

Seven months after his swearing-in as the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun sent a list of 18 commissioner-nominees to the Ogun State House of Assembly for necessary and Confirmations.

The commissioner-nominees include; Femi Ogunbanwo, Tunji Odunlami, Abiodun Abudu-Balogun, Prof Sidi Osho, Dr. Adeola Odedina, Ade Adesanya, Tunji Akinosi, Toyin Taiwo, Jamiu Omoniyi, Kehinde Oluwadare, Funmi Efuape, Ganiyu Hamzat, Oludotun Taiwo, and the immediate past commissioner for sports during the former Governor (Ibikunle Amosun) reign, Afolabi Afuape.

Others are Laolu Olabimtan, Funmi Coker, Gbolahan Adeniran, and Dapo Olubadejo.

The Speaker of the House, Olakunle Oluomo however, read the nominee list today at the floor of the house of the Ogun State House of Assembly.

It was reported by Daily Trust that the appointments are coming barely seven months after Governor Dapo Abiodun assumed office as Governor of the State.
