The family members of Favour Daley-Oladele, the murdered LASU final year student, have revealed that an order from the ministry of health, Lagos State stopped them from carrying out the burial as planned at the Atan Cemetery.
Recall that
Favour, the daughter of a pastor, David Daley-Oladele was killed by her
boyfriend, Owolabi Adeeko; his mother, Mrs. Adeeko; and the pastor of a white
garment church, Segun Phillip, at the Ikoyi-ile area of Osun State.
Speaking at
the Atan Cemetery, Solomon Toyeme, Favour’s uncle, said they had mobilized to
the health ministry to collect her corpse for burial before they were
instructed to stop the arrangement to allow for the investigation to be
concluded.
Her uncle
said,
“An order from the Lagos State Ministry of Health instructed us not to go ahead with Favour’s burial today. We were told that some procedures need to be taken and that we need to stop the burial so that we won’t lose the case.
