Ex-Ogun
lawmaker, Yinka Mafe, the immediate past majority leader of Ogun State House of
Assembly has passed on.
Reports said
Mafe died on Tuesday 4th February a few hours after celebrating his 46th
birthday. He was said to have complained of having chest pains after the
celebration and passed on shortly after.
The ex-Ogun lawmaker earlier in the day had organized a prayer session at Emuren, his country home as part of activities celebrating his birthday. He visited the inmates and warders at the Nigerian Correctional Centres, Sagamu before the proper birthday celebration at the Tenth Planet& Suites in Sagamu.
He was born
on 4th February 1974, he was a Councillor in ward 3 in Sagamu LG Legislative
Council in 1998 – 2002. He was a member of the Ogun State House of Assembly
representing Sagamu Constituency 1 from 2011 – 2019 under the platform of APC
formerly CAN.
