Eight People Identified On Board The Helicopter Crash That Killed Kobe Bryant

The sporting world was thrown into mourning after 9-persons lost their lives in a helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant and daughter, Gianna in Calabasas, California.

Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter were flying to Mamba Academy close to Thousand Oaks, California when the helicopter went down in Calabasas, 30 miles northwest Los Angeles.

At about 9:47 am, a 911 call was reportedly put through reporting a helicopter fire, with rescue workers arriving at the scene some eight minutes later. After putting out the fire, it was discovered that all eight people on board and the pilot had died, revealed the County Sheriff office.

Reports have disclosed that they are still working to recover the remains of the deceased, but the identity of the people in the helicopter has been revealed.

Teammate of Gianna, Alyssa Altobelli, was also on board the helicopter and her parents, John who was a baseball coach at Orange Coast College and Keri, his wife.

An assistant coach at Harbor Day School in Corona Del Mar, California, Christina Mauser and her daughter, Payton Chester was also in the crash.

An investigation is ongoing to reveal the cause of the helicopter crash. Bryant is survived by Vanessa, wife and three daughters.
