Eedris Abdulkareem Apprehended For Beating Landlord Over Unsettled Light Bills

Eedris Abdulkareem, Nigeria music star was apprehended last week for allegedly beating Oladipo Abimbola, his landlord, over unsettled N535,000 electricity bill on January 3rd, 2020 at the Valley View Estate, Ikeja, Lagos

A report has it that the singer forced his way into his landlord’s compound to beat and strangle him for telling the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company to disconnect his electricity

The landlord disclosed that the musician’s wife rented the apartment on his behalf and so he did not know Eedris was to be his tenant.

The landlord said the singer is a dangerous and antisocial person. Also, he said the singer constantly owed him rent.

On the other hand, the singer denied attempting to assault the man. He said Abimbola had on several occasion harassed his wife sexually and that his landlord had once been arrested for sexual harassment against a female tenant

Abdulkareem said the landlord frequently encroached on their side of the compound without their permission. The case is still under investigation
