Corp Members To Now Earn N33,000 Allowance – NYSC DG

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Director-General, Shuaibu Ibrahim, has disclosed that the monthly allowance of Corp members is now N33,000. He gave this cheering news while on a working visit to Bauchi State NYSC secretariat.

In a statement on the NYSC scheme’s official Facebook page, the DG said that this is in line with the new minimum wage recently signed by the Federal Government. He disclosed that there is already provision for the new allowance in the 2020 budget. Payment will start as soon as money is released by the authorities.
