Everton FC,
English Premiership side, has announced Italian Coach, Carlo Ancelotti as their
club new manager.
This was
confirmed by Marcel Brands, Everton’s Director of Football, he said further;
after a rigorous process conducted by all our Directors, it is our pleasure to
welcome Carlo Ancelotti to Everton. He is among the finest football managers in
the world of football and a proven winner, having achieved and recorded
remarkable successes in every of Europe’s major leagues.
Recall that
Ancelotti, who recently left Napoli will watch Everton’s game today’s against
Arsenal as a spectator with the Club’s Chairman and owner prior to meeting with
the players and taking up his new role from Sunday.
His first
game will be the visit of Burnley to Goodison Park on Boxing day, the club
announced.
Ancelotti
while speaking said;
This is a
great club with a rich history and a very passionate fan base. There is a clear
vision from the Board and the owner to deliver trophies and success.
That is
something that appeals to me as a football manager and I am thrilled at the
prospect of being able to work with everyone at the club to help bring that
vision into a reality.
I have
noticed from the performance within the last two weeks that the players are
able to do so much. Credit to Duncan for the great work he has done.
Strong
discipline, strong organization, and the right motivation are key ingredients
in football and I am happy that he will be part of my backroom staff.
